A Look Inside Training Camp for Rookie Blaine Gabbert & Co.

An NFL training camp is usually the toughest part of the the year for most professional football players.  For high profile rookies with zero (0) off-season team practices, training camp is brutal.

Gatorade’s new series “Everything to Prove” shows a wonderful perspective of what these young athletes endure to prepare for their first season in the NFL.  This episode shows Vikings’ Kyle Rudolph and Christian Ponder along with Jaguars’ Blaine Gabbert as they make the transition to the ranks of professional football.

Blaine has an entirely new offense to learn but he realizes that proper nutrition and hydration are the two key steps to “beating the heat” in the Sunshine State.  This video captures great interviews of Jags’ Head Coach Jack Del Rio and Offensive Coordinator Dirk Koetter on the young quarterback’s first week in Jacksonville.

It also includes a clip from me talking about how important consistent hydration is for an athlete to effectively perform their job.  The heat and hydration training and education that we provide our players is a helpful start to keep our athletes healthy and preforming at a very high level.

Check it out and get ready for a great football season for my Jacksonville Jaguars!
